Angora On The Farm
Since 1987 I have created fluffy warm garments and yarn from my English Angora rabbits. I hand spin and hand knit the fiber into durable hand-washable clothing. 100% angora or angora blend yarns, mittens, hats, headbands, baby garments and more. I also hand spin and hand knit felt hats and mittens. Custom orders are available upon request.
Angora is a very soft, silky textured fiber. I comb and pluck the fiber from my bunnies when they naturally shed every three months. The fiber is between 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 inches long and can easily be spun alone with very little to no shedding in the final garment. Angora fiber is hollow making it light weight and have high insulating properties.
My rabbits all have names, not numbers. I know which rabbit fur I use when making each garment so you will know the name of the rabbit that produced the fiber for your garment.
All angora garments are hand washed in cool water, mild soap and layed out to dry.

Angora is seven times warmer then wool and is the second softest fiber in the world, musk ox being the first.
